Not sure why people would be mad if we get stuck in a play in game at Dayton. We had our opportunity to not be in this position by blowing an 18 point lead in the final 13 minutes. I personally will be just happy to see Nebraska's name on the board no matter where it is listed or what seed we are.

Really??? I hate Craft but have to give the kid his due as he is a very good defender. He finds a way to defend and not get calls against him for some reason. You can't blame him for that. I hate Craft and Grant Gibbs the most of anyone else in the country but Benny is not about the same as Craft.

That might be a bit of a stretch. Don't judge how good Gesell is based on just his last game. He gets lots of steals and is very quick and takes care of the ball. Mike is a very smooth player and pushes the tempo for them. If I had to choose, I'd take Gesell as his overall game is better than Parkers. Benny has been playing very well but Gesell is a much better overall player.

As much as I'd like to agree with you about Iowa and the NIT, they are a lock for the NCAA tournament (as sad as that is). Not sure how but no matter whether they win or lose tonight, they are still going to be dancing.

How do you expect them to know who has season tickets or not? Of course this would be open to the public and anyone who wants to attend. It's not like they will get 15,000 people for this.

Most likely, it won't be UNC or Duke as we wouldn't be the draw that a Michigan or Indiana has to play those schools yet. It would be awesome if we did but guessing we'll get paired up with middle of the pack team yet.

I'll worry and start analyzing next year after this season is over but for now, I'm going to just enjoy the ride and not start looking ahead already. We've been in this position like NEVER so don't wait effort looking to next year and let just concentrate on this season. We've got all off season to look forward but now is not the time.

You don't make that kind of line-up change at this point. Next game, Tai might play 30 minutes and Benny only 10. It just all depends on match-ups and how each person is playing.

Your not crazy!!! That is why there are so many schools after this kid. It appears we are in this final 3 at least. If we could land him and move Tai to the off guard spot and with the returning trio of sophomores (pitchford, shields, petteway), we could do some damage next year.

Not necessarily. That would put our final record at 20 - 13 with only 2 road wins this season. Not sure that would automatically get us in. It could but certainly isn't a given.

Indiana has a RPI of 79. A win over us will neither jump them over us in the RPI nor jump us for a spot in the dance. I agree that a win by IU will not jump them over us or a win by NU will not get us in either but a loss by NU will make it more difficult to get in. We'd then need to beat Wisconsin and get 2 or 3 wins in Big 10 tournament. A loss just keeps shrinking our margin of error.

We need these teams to lose: Providence, St. John's, Florida State and Tennessee.
