  1. Where is this being reported? Is there a new article or something? I'm not seeing anything like this being reported either. What are you seeing Robin reporting this?
  2. Let's keep things in perspective as Miles is trying to recruit the type of talent's we've never had here before. Can't blame him for not landing every 4 star player that is considering us as I'm more impressed we have been so close to landing kids we've only dreamed of in the past. And in such a short time Miles has been here. So I'm not disappointed he hasn't landed one yet and more impressed he even getting top talent to consider it.
  3. Please tip your waiters and waitresses......three shows nightly.
  4. I'd rather go with a smaller lineup than throw Kurkoski out there for 10 minutes a game. Seems like a great teammate but should only see the floor in blow out games.
  5. So basically the same thing we hear from every kid after his visit here.
  6. Hope he's not Catholic.
  7. I disagree as I have feeling we are going to land this kid. But don't we always seem to start strongs on kids but can never close on them. Such as Cornish and Deng So if a few kids that KU is after decide to go to a different school, does that mean they can't close on them either? I understand what you are trying to say but you can't win every recruiting battle. All we can do is keep trying and sooner or later, we'll land some top 150 kids.
  8. I disagree as I have feeling we are going to land this kid.
  9. Wonder if Coach Miles is around for his visit or to busy on the bus tour with the other coaches?
  10. This kid would be a home run if Miles can land him.
  11. Can anyone give a summary of what the article says?
  12. Without a doubt, this would be mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmXumtgwtak&feature=player_detailpage
  13. Since it's in the off season, thought I'd see what everyone's prediction is for where Miles ends up on the all time wins list at Nebraska. Here is the current top 10. 1) Danny Nee - 14 years = 254 wins / 190 losses 2) Joe Cipriano - 17 years = 253 wins / 197 losses 3) Moe Iba - 6 years = 106 wins / 71 losses 4) Doc Sadler - 6 years = 101 wins / 89 losses 5) Barry Collier - 6 years = 89 wins / 91 losses 6) Harry Good - 8 years = 86 wins / 99 losses 7) Jerry Bush - 9 years = 81 wins / 132 losses 8) William Brown - 8 years = 64 wins / 87 losses 9) R.G. Clapp - 6 years = 59 wins / 43 losses 10) E.O. Stiehm - 4 years = 56 wins / 14 losses
  14. I really like the way Miles is being selective.
  15. Why do you think that?
  16. is that for sure?
  17. (sic) An inch and a half in the past month? How tall is he now? That's what she said
  18. But he also speaks pretty highly of the Minnesota program as well. He also says facilities won't have that big of impact on his decision. This is a kid that I'm keeping my fingers crossed Miles can land but it won't be easy.
  19. The downside could be that you tie up a scholarship for the next 4 or 5 years. I trust Miles as well but that is what got us in trouble under Sadler who would just sign anyone willing to come here instead of holding out for better talent. I think we have a chance for a big recruiting splash next year if we have a good season again. I'd rather have this spot open for that as opposed to just signing a kid you have to redshirt and hope he pans out when we don't really have a strong need for him right at the moment.
  20. I hope we pass on this kid and hold out for better opportunities.
  21. I've followed him on Twitter and curious what rubbed you the wrong way? I didn't see anything that he posted bad about Nebraska. Just curious what posts rubbed you the wrong way? Posting about and retweeting about UNLV while on his visit to Nebraska showed a lack of respect to me personally. +1, absolutely hated that. That type of behavior doesn't seem to fit in with the guys we currently have on the roster. Not that I disagree but all kids seem to do that. It's not just an issue that only he does. You see that all the time as kids will re-tweet or replay to another school when they are on a different visit. That is pretty common nowadays. Doesn't make it right but it's the way of social media today. Doesn't make him a bad kid.

  23. They aren't intentially leaving spots open. That is different than not finding the right guys they want to fill them with.
