yesterday for a few minutes. We got back to Lincoln about the time he came down the street to help my father out in the yard. What a nice guy, hope when I get home again I get a chance to talk to him more. He had nothing but high praise for Miles and Collier.

That make me still have faith and hope in this team. Everyone understands what's at stake.

I don't think I've ever seen the refs warn the team to sit down as much as this group did I'm pretty sure this is after Tai hit his 3.

In Hawaii when we play 3 games in 4 days I'd expect to see Tarrin, Nick, and Hammond play more than they have in the past.

Six guys played 28 or more minutes. 1 guy played 6 minutes. No one else played. In a 48 minute game. Look at the box score and you see who Tim Miles has the most confidence in. We can bash Tai all we want and say that Fuller or someone else should be getting his minutes, but this box score is a really good indication of who the head coach thinks can give this team the best opportunities to win games.

What sticks out to me most last night after reflecting on the game, is the possession where Tai got fouled in the corner by the bench. I believe this was after he made his three pointer. But anyways, he got fouled and pumped his fist as if he was excited to go to the line for a chance to bring the game within 1. Such a little act, but it showed me that Tai believes in himself, is confident in himself, and understood the importance those 2 free throws would have on the impact of the game. I didn't expect to see that from a kid who's been struggling in almost every facet of the game, in all honesty I was expecting two clanks with the type of thoughts that had to be going through his head. But Tai pulled through in the clutch and I'm very happy for him

HS lists him as 6'6" 215. Duke lists him at 6'8" 230. It'd be like having another Ed Morrow sized player. I'd take him over most 6'11" guys that would be available to us.

I like all of our players and appreciate their efforts, but I sure like what David Rivers brings to the team. He plays hard all the time. Also, my wife thinks he's cute. Go Huskers!

Petteway and Pitchford both need benched for more minutes until they figure it out. All-Americans they are not.

Petteway better watch his mouth. He is one who definitely is buying in to his own hype. Chucks up shots like there's no tomorrow. Turnover machine. Webster needs to take it to the basket more. He should be getting more minutes.

A little harsh on Petteway. Actually, a lot harsh. You must not have watched the IW game. HIs shot selection was much better. So were his decisions on the drive in transition, to avoid the charge. He is the least of our problems. Interesting take on Webster, that runs contrary to virtually everyone else on the board. Other than horrible outside shooting, numerous defensive mistakes, and bad turnovers, you might be right. And oh yeah, the part about taking it to the hoop more: You think other teams don't have him figured out and won't allow that? When you can't shoot from 5 feet and beyond, teams will sag and take away the drive. Teams aren't even guarding him now from outside. Tai can improve the defense and turnovers. Not sure about the shooting, as we are 2 seasons into that at this point.

So who are you going to put in for them, genius?
