  2. I have to think the money we are spending on the staff has to be towards the top in the nation. The good news is that now nobody can say Nebraska doesn't care about basketball....with that money they are dumping in the program we are finally trying to build a winner.

  4. If the NCAA doesn't clear Tai Webster while they gave a gift to Creighton in granting Gibbs a sixth year (where a similar case had never been approved before), I will erupt.

  5. I'm not trying to bring you down here, but the following series of posts are what your "source" has offered you. I think you can see why you aren't getting much credit... First you said, "My source says SAT has nothing to do with it. The clearinghouse has to decide whether or not to allow his credits to transfer." --> Brian just wrote: "He recently met a qualifying score on his SAT - a major step in Webster gaining NCAA clearance." Clearly the SAT mattered. Then you said on June 25: "I'm hearing that we should know in 48 hours whether Tai is going to be eligible for this season. For sure by Friday." --> It's July 2, and we still know nothing about his eligibility. Then you said: "The clearinghouse has been reviewing Tai's case for a while now and were simply waiting for his SAT score. It won't take long for the clearinghouse to make this decision." --> So the SAT didn't matter at all as opposed to his credits transferring over, but the NCAA was just waiting for his SAT score the whole time? That doesn't make sense... Finally, you said: "I heard the university already found out whether he is eligible or not. I have no idea when they will announce what the decision was. If he is not eligible, they will probably appeal it which could take who knows how long." --> Tim Miles just told Brian Tai is not cleared by the NCAA yet. "It's just a matter of time. These things take time." It's good news that he is coming July 13 to be enrolled in classes. But nothing has changed on the central issue at hand: Tai has not been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse. They could take right up until the season to do that...they could go well into the season. Nobody knows. Especially your "source". Just a suggestion, you may want to reconsider before using your "source" again. He has been right about basically nothing as far as Tai's eligibility goes. I have zero inside information and have been more correct in saying "The NCAA Clearinghouse has no timeline and drags these things out."

  6. Coach Miles really gets it. He intentionally took less money for himself so he could hire top assistants! This is one of the reasons, perhaps the main reason, Coach Miles will turn the Huskers into a winner.

  8. THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUST MERGE THEM??? I'm not sure we've built technology capable of merging an 18 word subject summary yet.

  9. Kind of. Miles said it was a "hybrid" role including some of those duties. Dang thought I got to tell my wife I was right!

  10. Miles, you missed the worst bit of seemingly false info when TimMiles' source said a couple of weeks ago that Tai wasn't going to make it. TimSmiles, your source has wronged you multiple times about Webster. He doesn't seem to be very connected to the situation, to be honest.

  11. Great news....won't get too excited untill the NCAA finally gives the okay but its been a good summer to be a Husker. Good news on Tai keeps rolling on and Husker baseball is bringing in one of the top recruiting classes in the nation.

    Tai

I just checked rivals top 100 for 2013, and the top 26 were 5 stars, top 27 were on 247. So he's basically saying Tai would be a 5 star or almost a 5 star. Awesome!

  16. Well, I for one am glad he came back. I'm hoping Echenique can sneak into the second round. He's had a lot of workouts (12 at last count) and has been getting some pub as the highest rising player that wasn't even on the grid previously. 2nd round? Are you serious? Yeah, I don't think he'll make it to the first. You do understand that there are only two rounds, right? You do understand I said that because I don't think he is getting drafted at all, right? Good prediction doublejay...err... Creightonfan.
