Good Luck to the Huskers & GO BIG RED SIC EM HUSKERS
Report reply a0t0w0 920 Posted March 21, 2014 Not saying this is over, but if we do lose: Someday we'll get over this NCAA hump thing, and it may be because the team is so talented and athletic that it can win despite playing tight, much as Florida did yesterday. Until then, it's almost expected that a team, university and fan base that want to win so badly comes out unable to perform, especially when your top three players are sophomores and your opponent is athletically gifted. That's my excuse, anyway, so I'm sticking with it. Sigh. Now prove me wrong, Huskers. They will. I think I love you. In a purely bro-mance kind of way, of course. Ask me why I'm confident... Report reply Omaha Nebrasketballer 58 Posted March 21, 2014 Need to come out strong to start the second half. Playing good D just need to see a few jumpers go in to get the guys confidence back up. Hope they just come out and let it rip. Quote Share this comment
Report reply TheKamdyMan 1,413 Posted March 21, 2014 I love the hoops Twitter account saying they are 2-0 when scoring below 20 points like its a good thing. Congrats you did it against two teams that didn't even make the NIT. Baylor isn't that bad. Quote Share this comment

Report reply Omaha Nebrasketballer 58 Posted March 21, 2014 I love me some Tim Miles but that first half coaching job gets an easy F-. The best coach in the world can't shoot threes or free throws for his players Quote Share this comment

Report reply The Coach 157 Posted March 21, 2014 Well if there's one coach who can blow a 13-point lead, it's Scott Drew. This team over-achieved this year in large part due to an amazing home-court advantage/atmosphere. We are a different team away from The Vault. Report reply brfrad 2,753 Posted March 21, 2014 I love me some Tim Miles but that first half coaching job gets an easy F-. Coaching hasn't been the problem. Shooting has been the problem. Walter, who can make 3's, hasn't hit one. Petteway, another 40 % shooter, can't hit a shot. Quote Share this comment

Report reply B1G Red 236 Posted March 21, 2014 I love me some Tim Miles but that first half coaching job gets an easy F-. With the exception of not using more time outs, couldn't disagree more. We had open looks galore and played solid d. Tim can't put the rock in the hoop. That's on the players. Quote Share this comment

Report reply jayschool 4,523 Posted March 21, 2014 Time to make some history. The game will be a microcosm of the season: Encouraging first moments followed by a long struggle. Take a break, regroup and shock the world. Please? Quote Share this comment
Report reply Omaha Nebrasketballer 58 Posted March 21, 2014 Cut it down to 6 or 7 by the 10 minute mark and I like our chances. It's a game of momentum. Just need a little bit Quote Share this comment

Report reply B1G Red 236 Posted March 21, 2014 I still think we make a run at this thing. Gotta find a way to cut it to 6-8 by the 8 minute mark and see what happens! Let's go boys! Quote Share this comment
Report reply TorchJones 3 Posted March 21, 2014 Our core group is a bunch of sophomores playing like sophomores. Except for Sheilds. And our senior is once again absent. Quote Share this comment

Report reply The Coach 157 Posted March 21, 2014 I really think Tai needs to redshirt next year, to work on his shot and confidence. He was just not ready, and that's not his fault. We need a real leader at PG. I think/hope that Tarin can be that guy. Quote Share this comment
