I posted this elsewhere, but this seems like the most appropriate spot for it now:

The first of several times he’ll win that honor. Just curious, who was the last Freshman to lead the B1G in scoring…?  Kris Humphries? Chis Webber?

Yup sorry, should have been more clear. Petteway was the last Husker to lead the conference in scoring.

I’m thinking it was former Mr Kim Kardashian who led the league in BOTH scoring and rebounding as a Frosh with the Gophers.

On that note, I don’t think it’s completely unrealistic to think Bryce could accomplish that this season, staying “within the offense” and not just jacking up shots to pad his numbers.

Bryce has a shot but there are a lot of heavy hitters in the conference. Feels like he ends up in the top 10 though considering the pace we play at.

It’s early - only 7 games in - but I want to spend some time appreciating the year Bryce is having.  If he truly is a one-and-done…let’s enjoy the ride this year.  We can update this as the year goes on and the competition ramps up.
