Is this going to be an early season where they call fouls on nearly every possession, and then they stop calling fouls?  Or, will they keep calling fouls all season?  If so, free throw shooting will be very important.

So this team made it to the Division II Regionals last year and beat SW Minnesota twice. Northern State lost its two top scorers — or about 33 percent of their scoring — but returns everybody else, including the freshman Fries. So this team is comparable to SW Minnesota's squad that stressed the Huskers in the exhibition last year.

Huskers lead Northern State, 43-21 @ Halftime. Huskers looking good in this first exhibition game.

Miles is rotating a lot of the newcomers in and out of the game.
