jimmykc Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 Initial reports indicate he had a pimp on his staff. Whether it proves to be true or not, it has got to hurt recruiting for a while in Louisville. 49r 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 yikes... Have heard (twitter maybe) that Gill's name hasn't popped up in anything so that is good. Quote

kimaniismyffriend Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 Wonder how this plays with Gill, and if this helped Agau choose Louisville.... Andy Sweeney @TheOnlySweeney 3h 3 hours ago Goodman on @ESPN680 says NCAA will go to former Louisville transfers and hang eligibility over their head. Don't think just Blakeney. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 Hang eligibility over their head ... and what? That's half a thought. Makes my head hurt reading it and wondering what the other half of the thought was supposed to be. Quote
49r Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Whoa! Sounds like they're out to nail Louisville/Pitino to the wall over this deal! Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 So are they going to go to the transfers and say tell us what we want to hear or you won't be playing anywhere anytime soon? Quote
hhcmatt Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Whoa! Sounds like they're out to nail Louisville/Pitino to the wall over this deal! And they're willing to burn guys not in the program to do it? That's some B.S. it this turns out to be true. Frankly, I don't care what Agau or Gill saw or didn't see there. They, their parents, their schools, and their schools lawyers should call this bluff and tell the NCAA to suck a lemon. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 ...an interesting extra benefit, to say the least. Quote

jimmykc Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 Do the transfers have one common head? Or will the hanging be done in the rest room? Or does the statement have a more prurient connotation? Just wondering. Quote

I'm not commenting on their methodology (which is asinine, I agree) rather the apparent desire to go after Louisville to the degree they appear to be. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 And you know some of these guys may have left because of what was going on. Not all college kids are into stuff like this off the court. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 The scandal will be reviewed internally: Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 When I was in college some buddies of mine where taking a short cut home from the bars one night across UNL campus, in their car. The UNL cop stopped them right out side of the library. As he was talking to the driver, the others got out and opened the trunk and got out the drivers golf clubs and started hitting balls all over the place. The cop told them to stop or they would be in big trouble. One of them said he wasn't a real cop because he didn't even have a gun. The guy looked at him said your right and let them go. Now they were being douchbags but it was kind of funny. This was in the 80's. Quote

My issue is if they're going to go after Louisville by threatening the eligibility of kids. Quote
