AuroranHusker Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Perhaps Terranasaurus will be a giant piece of the puzzle for FW. Red Don 1 Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 So at the very least Terran will make $87K this year between Hawks and D-League. Thats not a horrible first year out of college. Silverbacked1 1 Quote

hhcmatt Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 http://www.nba.com/dleague/santacruz/dleague_faqs.html I believe that since Terran wasn't drafted he can sign a 10 day contract with any team at any time. BTW, these are the teams that are affiliated with Fort Wayne (Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic) Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 Wheat Hotchkiss@Wheat_Hotchkiss Random transaction: #Pacers signed rookie forward Terran Petteway last night and then waived him today. Was an extra body at practice. Quote

Didn't Petteway have pre-draft workouts with Charlotte, Detroit, Atlanta, and L.A. Lakers? It looks like those align pretty well with the Ft. Wayne affiliates, so there might be some promise there. hhcmatt Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 From a guy who follows the D-League I guess players are typically picked via a draft to start the season. However, you are allowed to sign a guy who was cut from a team that doesn't have a D-League affiliate, which Atlanta does not. Quote

Norm Peterson Posted October 28, 2015 Report Posted October 28, 2015 No offense to TP or the other posters in this thread, but I am sooooo looking forward to the day when there's enough current stuff to talk about that a thead about a former player's pro exploits drops off the first page. It's long past time we had something new to talk about. Quote

Red Don Posted October 28, 2015 Report Posted October 28, 2015 Not to be contrary Norm , but in my eyes Terran is not only 'a former player.' He was the first of 'a breath of fresh air' for the BB program in a long time; Rescued from the obscurity of 'bench-warming' at his former school, he became the top scorer in the league his first year, and the sparkplug getting us to the Dance. He's now part of Husker Lore. I understand your sentiment; In keeping with that, I hope TP is just the First of many to come, for us to talk about and revel in their exploits. I agree with what you say. I just can't wait to be able to talk about something else. I can't wait until there's something more to talk about. I can't wait until there's new stuff that drops whatever it is we've been talking about the last few months to at least the 2nd page of the board. Over the summer, the front page of the main board became like a Top 40s radio station that wants to play the same songs hour after hour after hour. At the beginning of the summer, you might have liked whatever the song was, but by the end of the summer, you hear that song come on and you change the station. I'm ready for them to play something else. Red Don 1 Quote
