After seeing Ohio State take liberties by adopting LeBron James as a Buckeye, just because he was born in Ohio, I got to wondering about something. How many native Nebraskans have played in the NBA, and who is the last one to do so? Quote

We may have some others who were born here but moved on. Piatkowski spend a bunch of tiem in Scottsbluff (through 8th grade) but don't know where was born. In other sports, Andy Roddick and Mark Calcevechhia have to rank up there as nebraska-born athletes who were great pro athletes. Quote

His mom's dad was Jerry Bush, I think most know that, but Hoiberg's parents graduated from Lincoln Southeast, his mom was actually the track coach? there for a very short time until Fred was born and they headed for Iowa.
