Wisconsin beat VCU 74-73.

Miami beats Butler 85-75 to win the Puerto Rico TIpoff tourney.

Miami looks really athletic and is going to be a tough game for us...would be a great win for us.

Tonye Jekiri, Miami's 7-foot, 21-year-old center, is averaging 10.2 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 59 percent from the field and 81 percent from the line.

I don't see how we compete with them if he's in the game. Do we double-down? OK. The Canes shoot 45 percent from deep. Oy.

Never mind the other five players averaging double figures

Actually, if they bring him to the game, I have heard that Miles is going to forfeit.  You know, since we have no chance and all.

Hey, we'll play. And PBA may get in their heads. Just doesn't look like a good matchup for a team without a strong and experienced post. I overstated my reservations. Sorry for the hyperbole.

Read the recap and it was crazy

Groselle goaltends to give ASU the lead, Huff misses 2 FTs and then a 3 at the buzzer.

The one game you want Creighton to win.....

KETV had video of the whole saga: Jays seemed to blow it in crunch time.

If you turned off the Kentucky v. Tennessee game because KU was up by 21...

You may want to turn it back on, as Tennessee is now up by 6 with a little over 4 minutes left.

God, I hate Calipari!

Why do you hate Calipari?  Like him or not, the dude wins a lot of games every year.

My dislike comes from the belief Calipari is pretty good at breaking the rules. He is the only head coach to have Final Four appearances vacated at more than one school. He has left the schools behind before the sanctions come down so the schools get punished while he is on to the next job.

It isn't worth much discussion because it is old news...but it was nice to see a team we beat come back from 21 down to beat them.

This is the important part.

Samford is 2-10 in conference now and currently on a 6 game losing streak.  That one still stings.  And may be the difference between getting an NIT bid or being home for the postseason again.  Had we taken care of business it appears it would have been a difference of around 17 spots in the RPI.

I just looked on Huskers.com this morning and saw that they have the game set for 6:00 p.m. CST. I don't know if I was out of the loop on that announcement or if this time just got set.

The time was set on January 29th. The time is indicated in the tweet from Nebraska Basketball.
