While Shavon might have been struggling w/ knee issues, disappointment in Shields' was not a part of my thought process. He's the glue of this program. I had a lot of faith that S.S. would turn his offensive woes into firepower in short order. He's simply a joy to watch lead the team alongside Terran.

The dreaded "sophomore slump" is over!  NU is blessed with two nice wing players that have to be accounted for by other teams.  Ray G. needs to "heat" up the rest of the season.

He has been a stud the past few weeks.  He's looking far more explosive once again...and finishing buckets.  To start the year he was getting good position but was missing point blank shots or getting his chit rocked.  We need another big game out of him tonight...have to think Illinois will be ready for him after he put it to them a short while ago.
