I talked to Paul Meyers Friday night at a donor event for football and he said that we can expect our seating assignments for the arena this week. He said they had to get it done so they could move on to getting volleyball assignments done for Devaney.

I'm a first time season ticket holder. So what exactly does this mean, will they be sending out notification of where we will be sitting at Pinnacle? I assume they try and put you in a very comparable location in the new one? Pretty excited to see the floor plan & where I'm going to be at!

boomer...if you want to upgrade your seats (perhaps..pay more) you should still contact the ticket office to discuss options that may be open to you...if not, you are correct you will be in a comparable seat assignment.

How long ago did you receive the form? I haven't even received a form yet. I'm a new ticket holder that just got my tickets a few days before the exhibition game though, so perhaps it's based upon that.

I don't remember exactly but thinking it was back in the August/September window that I got the form in the mail and sent it back in. You might want to call the ticket off and ask about getting your seats in the new arena since you are a new season ticket holder this year.

The initial packet in the mail describing the process came out to season ticket holders (at the time) back in April. It described the process for determining seating in the new arena and gave a timeline of when each step of the process was to happen. During the summer, they announced a delay in the process due to the seat vendor not knowing the exact dimensions of the seats and therefore they were not going to know the number of rows, number of seats, orientation of each section, etc. Packets were mailed out toward the end of July (I believe) to current season ticket holders assigning them a comparable seat location in the new arena. On the form, people were to indicate if they wanted these seats or if they desired to be relocated and where they requested their new seats to be. This form had to be turned in sometime in August (another guess) and fans were told that they would know of the outcome of their requests by October 31st. I thought that they initially said that new season ticket holders that came into the fold during this process wouldn't have their chance to receive new arena seats until after this first round of assigning seats to the old season tickets holders (those having purchased season tickets prior to the letters being sent out in late July. I have a feeling that the ticket office is completely overwhelmed with this process and it is taking way longer than anticipated. I would guess that it is very complicated to place 8,000 or so fans in their seats based on their requests and donation levels.

I'm in the same boat. I called the Ticket Office last week and was told as a new season ticket holder, I'd be part of the second wave and would get my info before year's end hopefully.

None at all. I asked for a small upgrade, if available. Wasn't too greedy. Can you get me a little closer to the aisle? Maybe move me a row or two further up? But I've seen nothing. For all I know, they're going to move me into the section of seats on the north end that won't be installed yet. I wish we'd get something back soon.
