  1. Unless we win the Big Ten tournament, I don't see what benefit locking up the 4 seed ahead of the game really does for us. Beat PSU (which is a MUST for any at-large hopes) and we lock up the 4 seed anyway. If we're worried about our at-large hopes, we need Michigan to stay a Quadrant 1 win.
  2. I can't think of any benefit in rooting for Penn State.
  3. It's basketball, sometimes you just lose. I just want to be in the Tourney and I'll take any advantage in getting a win.
  4. I'm in the same boat as you. I actually hope Penn State loses the next 3 so when they come to the Vault, they're a downtrodden team with little left to play for. I'd much rather play that Penn State than one who has racked up a couple Q1 wins and needs to beat us to grab a spot in the Tourney.
  5. Alright, you've got me stumped again. Who is the kid from North Dakota?
  6. Any word on how good Anton has been? What should we be expecting from him next year?
  7. Others more knowledgeable and prominent in coaching and recruiting have explained Sam best to me as follows: He can write well but his ability to evaluate (especially players and recruits) has always been subpar.
  8. He won't help us at all this year. http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/09/nebraska-loses-freshman-forward-to-season-ending-knee-injury/ You got the wrong guy. That article is about the walk-on B.J. Day.
  9. I don't think he came to Nebraska for the purposes of walking on. My understanding was that he came to Nebraska for school purposes and after the fact, became a walk-on.
  10. Maybe I'm in the minority but I kind of tire of all the senseless posts that just seek to increase the page count. I know a select few kind of think it's funny and an on-going joke but it just creates so much clutter.
  11. Detroit would win this going away simply because they can put twice as many people in Ford Field than they can for Century Link or Target Center. And you KNOW Michigan and MSU fans would pack Ford Field for their games. Since I am new to following this conference...do they ever seriously try to play basketball in the (god awful for basketball) football stadiums? I think it's very unlikely a conference tournament would ever be held in a football stadium.
  12. I thought it was to be released at the end of this month. I think there was just a game left they were trying to get set. I'm sure PBA has been informed of NU's schedule (minus the open date).
