Interesting that he thinks we will finish 10-8 in conference play. And with that, says we will have a 1-18 shot at making the tournament

I think what he was saying is Nebraska needs to go at least 10-8 to get in the NCAA tourney.  We don't have a shot at it with anything less.  He's probably right.

Both of his projections have us going 7-11 or 8-10 most likely.

Hey, pathetic Northwestern has 3 conference road wins -- @ Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota.  If they can do it, why can't we?

We're the only B1G team without a conference road win so far.

Interesting that he thinks we will finish 10-8 in conference play. And with that, says we will have a 1-18 shot at making the tournament

I think you misread that.

He thinks due to our relatively soft conference schedule that it will take a 10-8 record in the conference to make the NCAA tourney and gives us a 1-18 chance of doing so.

Looks like Big 12 and Big Ten remain the top two leagues. Quite a few Pac-12 teams hovering in bubble territory right now, it'll be interesting to see how many them will surge forward.

Despite losing teams in the off season, A-10 and American Athletic remain strong. 'Catholic 7' would be pretty sad without the newcomers. And ACC would be struggling again without adding Syracuse & Pitt.

I think Colorado's spot on the good side of the bubble is tenuous now with Dinwiddie out.  RPI forecast has them going 4-5 the rest of the way for a 9-9 conference record and an expected RPI in the upper 30's.

Northwestern is NOT the same team we thought they were two weeks ago.  Coach Collins has performed a miracle there in Evanston.  If we don't pull our heads out, we'll get blown out by them too.

Good news is a blow out loss to Northwestern means like 48-44.  But still...

Ohio State and Michigan swap spots.  It's good to see that "W" up there.  Florida Gulf Coast is back to under #200 (up 25 spots) and Georgia keeps looking like a better win for us all the time.

Hard to believe with the strength of B1G that we play only 2 games against Top 50 KenPom teams and only 3 vs Top 75 teams over the last half of the regular season conference schedule. Just drives home how front-weighted our B1G schedule was and how we have single plays against a few of those top level teams.

1-0 so far in those last 9, hopefully we can keep taking advantage!

St. Johns is really awesome though. They cannot possibly be mediocre since they beat Creighton. Only the Big 10 teams and Witchita are mediocre. And Nebraska is a complete dumpster fire. That is the word here in Omaha.

Most athletic team in America is also the word. They have 4 NBA draft picks.

So.  Michigan moves back ahead of Ohio State, naturally, but there are other surprises in this edition of the KenPom update.  First off, Penn State beats Indiana in Bloomington but are still dropped down below Illinois even after we beat the Illini.  Doesn't affect us really but I thought it was interesting.

Second, take a look at what Georgia's doing.  With their recent upward trend, we effectively picked up TWO top-100 wins last night!
