Predicting the 2012-2013 Season. Wins and losses

Here is what I see as the best case scenerio 11-2. 5-13. 0-1. 16-16 for the season. Losses to Creighton, and Wake Forest.

I think that I will go to every game either knowing we should win or at least thinking that we will win.

I know we won't win them all, but it is hard to not put on the rose colored glasses for every game, because you never know what could happen.

And I want to be there every time it does.

If Miles gets over 10 overall wins this year with this group, he should be national coach of the year. I certainly hope he does but our depth is not good this year and will end up costing us some games. Looking down the road, I can see wins increasing each year under Miles and will be a huge jump in wins and talent from year 1 to year 2.

Don't think I ever put my predictions out there, but my optimistic self thinks 10 non-conference and 6 conference. Miles will find a way to win the games we should and pull out a few games we shouldn't. Should be a fun season, regardless!

Norm posted that our predictions were more bleak right before the season started, then became a little more confident as we got closer to the season start. I had kind of thought that we set low expectations and, with the season we've had, would have been much more successful than the predictions most of us had.

To many, we have already had a successful year. Hopefully the team can get a couple more wins and maybe get a win or two in the conference tournament. I think if you make it through the first round and even the NIT, given the limited number of scholarships this year, this would be a very, very good foundation for the next few years when Nebraska has the same amount of players as its opponent. I'm pretty stoked about our future, for sure. Thanks for pulling this back up, 49r.
