its a sub contextual pretense to the failed imperialism of Antarctica, in the early British empire, soon after the war of 1812....it’s a song, nothing to see here...

So who is Big Sean?

I get that it's fun and easy to dismiss this as "just being a song." But it could also very easily be Sai talking about how Arizona didn't want him two years ago, but now Sean Miller (Big Sean) and the Wildcats are showing interest in him.

I mean, it's recruiting, who the heck knows?

His latest tweet really has me confused:

Sitting alone at night in secret study;
it is placed on the brass tripod.
A slight flame comes out of the emptiness and
makes successful that which should not be believed in vain.

From reports of Sai it sounds like he's a smart kid with a bright future.  HOWEVER, this kind of waiting game really sours recruits for me.  When someone announces they're going to make a decision soon, it seems to me that it would mean they have it pretty much figured out.

I don't like our chances the longer we wait.

Guys, that was actually Nostradamus, not Sai, but the fact that people couldn't tell the difference shows how maddeningly cryptic his tweets are!  :)

Personally, I've had enough of hoops recruiting for 2013. I'm really ready for it to be over!

Does it really make sense to try to make sense of every tweet he - or any recruit - puts out there, rather than just waiting for a decision??

It's a message board, and it's recruiting. It's what fans do.

It is? I must be a crappy fan. I follow recruiting, but I don't think it makes much sense to try to draw conclusions from every Tweet or post a recruit puts out there. While this process might be the biggest thing on a recruit's mind, it's not the only thing. And here we try to treat every tweet like it's some sort of clue to a puzzle we are to solve before the decision is made...

Maybe I should have said, "it's what a lot of fans do." If you're above it, cool. But frankly a number of recruits enjoy giving clues and playing with fans.

This is disappointing, but when you lose to the home-state school that's 15 minutes from his old high school, where his family and friends can see him play, you just have to accept it and move on. I would have been extremely disappointed if we had lost him to Miami-Ohio or BYU, but we gave it our best shot here and just didn't get it done. The odds were certainly against us on this one.

I agree with this
