Finally. Play like this all game. We finally had 5 girls in long enough to get a rhythm going together.

I know Amy likes to spread the minutes but I think post season is the time you tighten up your rotation. Too many subs and you can not get into a rhythm.

Several of these passes are head scratchers, especially from veteran players, especially this late in the season.

Coley was likely in the game more (8 minutes) as she is from Minnesota as is  Stewart (only 4 min) and want to retain Coley for another year (she was better this year but still needs to improve).  Leaving some starter out of the game with a few minutes left was likely stupid as reflected by others above.  One of our players was tetting tied up right in front of our bench but a time out was not taken to save the possession.  What else is new with Williams with subbing pattern and everything else???????  The good new is we have 20 wins to get us in the Dance for maybe one and done with 2 games at the most.

Amy's substitution pattern has never changed since she got to NU.  Around the 5 minute mark of the first quarter she always subs at least 3 players no matter what. She'll get another 3-4 nonstarters in the first half.  I've always felt you play your top 8 almost entirely till the game is settled one way or the other.

I seen a few coaches over the years do exactly as Amy has done and they all come around to the 8-9 play in the regular season til the game is settled and come post season it shrinks to 7-8. Feel like if she has not come around by now she never will.

In tournament play it’s not all bad to play a lot of people. Jaz is the exception as her minutes are huge.  I just hate to see a group that is clicking on the floor be subbed out because it’s time to sub.  Hopefully, our starters will be clicking today. We cannot afford a 7 point first quarter.

Why do people beat a dead ? It changes nothing unless you are hired as the coach.
