Love to watch NU hoops play well - but is anyone else feeling a little pissed off as to why this type of energy & defense doesn’t happen on the road?

The difference is we are making shots, and taking care of the ball.  We have much more pep in our step.  It shouldn't be that way.  If we ever figure this effort out, when we aren't making shots, we would be a great team.

Not at all.  They played well at Illinois, they beat K State, would have beaten Rutgers had Gary not been injured, and had a disappointing second half at Minnesota.

Agreed - always nice to make shots. But could the effort on defense, the rebounding, etc. create easier shots to make? For this team (for most in my opinion), it starts with the effort on defense and on the boards.

That last make by Michigan started by not stalling taking the ball out.  We unbounded it way too quickly.  This game probably doesn't make a difference,  but really got to learn that kind of things down the stretch.  Hoiberg was not happy at the time with them.
