So true, he would have never made it past the summer with Miles

I'll still pass... to much of a headcase, did not want to be here, and would not of fit well with Miles.  I think him and Miles would of butted heads...

Not sure I agree.  Miles makes basketball fun.  I think there is a good chance Miles could have channelled Christian's passion for basketball (for those who used to go to practice, it's impossible to deny the effort and passion CSH brought to the game), and good things would have happened.  What I don't know, from a technical standpoint, is how CSH would do in Miles' motion offense.  But since it does not include a bunch of structured sets, I have a hunch he would have done fine.

If the Hawaii coach can get this out of him, why couldn't Miles?

Would  love to have the guy on offense this year.  I think all those who bitch like hell when Talley or Ray go one on three at the end of the shot clock and launch a bomb would like to have him as well.

Sure, it would be great to have him. And while we're stealing ex-NU players/commits back from Hawaii, let's take Joaquim, too. It's possible that Christian needed the NU experience to get him more focused and more integrated with his team. I'm happy the guy's finding success and being a star for another team. I really am. But he didn't work out here.

Came across the one and only Christian Standhardinger today on espn. This dude is averaging 16 points and 8 boards a game......if he only could have lasted

The chick in the park was saying the same thing....

:lol::D

In all seriousness, I would've liked it if he atleast got a chance at Nebraska.  The guy could penetrate and make things happen.  Doc just hated his premature shot.

And his ball handling skills were good as well.  He never seemed to have trouble rising to the occasion either.

So what happened to this guy? Why isn't he going here?

Doc wasn't going to let Christian freelance on offense and shoot the ball every time he got it.  Christian didn't quite get the "team" concept and thought "team" was spelled C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-S-T-A-N-D-H-A-R-D-I-N-G-E-R.  So, in addition to being a ball hog, the kid couldn't spell very well.

That's one way of looking at it.

(And I FIFY, coz.)

But Doc was ok with Bo Spencer doing it since he spent so much time talking him up during his redshirt he had to
