Players get drafted into the NBA and paid by a franchise, but their employer is still the NBA and their employment is subject to terms of the CBA between the NBA and NBPA. He can go to any team, even if he refused to work out for them. 
 

Also, Ayton and CP3 are no longer in Phoenix.

 

Oh yeah I forgot about both of them actually thanks.  I'd think if not LA, Lebron would probably follow him to Dallas or Cleveland, maybe Miami.  But I'm guessing Lakers 2nd round with the 55th to make sure Lebron ends his career there.  That's huge $$ for LA whether they win or lose.  Bronny is easily the most interesting story in the draft IMO since Lebron opted out.  It would be very cool to see them play together even if only a few minutes.  It might be the one time it ever happens.
