Yes. KU has looked pretty average this whole tournament. Maybe its a matter of them "playing down" to their opponent's level, but UNC's path to the NC has been a lot harder and they've looked like the better team.

I haven't studied the bracket (mostly because I can't be bothered to care) but the total seed count of all of Kansas' opponents leading up to the final game has got to be one of the highest numbers in the history of the tournament for any finalist since the expansion to 64 teams.

Really? A 16, a 9, a 4 and a 2 is pretty much exactly what you'd expect.

 

1 seeds are supposed to get easier paths than 8 seeds like NC.
