The Big Ten and the Pac-12 are the first two Power 6 conferences to drop. Couldn't make it past the third round. The Big Ten with 9 teams, Pac-12 with 3 represented in the tournament.

ACC is guaranteed in the Championship. Now it's just between the Big 12 and Big East to decide the other side of the matchup.

Really hate a UNC-Duke semifinal.  The Final Four is another example of the blue bloods dominating college BB.

Last year’s Final Four was great because all were from West of the Mississippi River.  I prefer Carolina to Duke for certain.

Yes. KU has looked pretty average this whole tournament. Maybe its a matter of them "playing down" to their opponent's level, but UNC's path to the NC has been a lot harder and they've looked like the better team.

I haven't studied the bracket (mostly because I can't be bothered to care) but the total seed count of all of Kansas' opponents leading up to the final game has got to be one of the highest numbers in the history of the tournament for any finalist since the expansion to 64 teams.

Really? A 16, a 9, a 4 and a 2 is pretty much exactly what you'd expect.

 

1 seeds are supposed to get easier paths than 8 seeds like NC.
