This message board told me a lot that I didn’t even know about myself. 😂😂

Fill us in Steve, we'd love to hear from you. You were part of the smallest yet best defensive teams Nebraska has rolled out this century

16.5 is the win total over under for the year.

Iowa clocking in at 16.

I'd take the unders on the 16.5 btw.

Too late, I always enjoy re-visiting my takes from 5+ years ago, whatever happened to Jervay Green anyway…?

That was all Doc, he’s a defensive coaching genius. With the lack of size we had we had no choice but to be scrappy on defense.

Steve…thank you for your years in a Nebraska jersey. That ‘08-‘09 team was truly inspiring to watch on the defensive end. Will never forget when you sprinted full court and saved that ball against Texas A&M in 2009 and were incorrectly called out of bounds. You guys deserved to dance. Go big red!

I still remember watching the first game and Samari Curtis putting up a 3 and wondering what the world kind of form/shot that was I just saw. Prolly the slowest release in college basketball history. He was gone a few games later. Lol

Winning bucket against Creighton, if I recall correctly.   Haven't beat them much since.

After we beat Creighton in 2018, I heard Chris Heady argue adamantly on a podcast that Miles was better vs. Creighton than Doc ever was because Doc never beat Creighton.

Doc was 3-3 against Creighton.  Having a job covering Nebraska basketball for the biggest newspaper in the state does not require you to know much about Nebraska or basketball.
