Forgot to update yesterday but the rankings should be pretty much the same as they would have been if I had.  One note of semi-import, Ken still has us projected to win 8 games.

KenPom's in almost as much denial as we are.

Yep. You should definitely check out his Podcast, he put that first loss as the most shocking one in the nation. 19 after favored by 15 was crazy, dont think we see that again. it's competitive losses until we learn the system and get guys in roles. Much more complicated of course...but its wild and depressing how this has all started. But yeah, one of my favorite podcasts...that man has my nerdy sporting interests at heart! ❤️ KP

Penn State's shooting up the charts after their big win over Georgetown.  Iowa, Minnesota and Creighton sliding down.  Ken now forecasts 9 wins for the Huskers.  New Mexico State drops ten spots, they also just beat our next opponent Southern 79-66 on Thursday.  Here's today's update.

Nine sounds about right. I had hoped we'd get close to that in the non-con but double-digit win total this season seems like something I'd be happy with.

Keep in mind, @Norm Peterson that at the moment KenPom's prjections don't include games #2 and #3 in the Cayman Islands Classic.  The actual number might be higher.

Folks, talk to your children about a ranked Penn State.  Here's today's update.

Hey!  Look at that, we got 3 W's in a row up there now!  But it's tough to get too excited about that yet, our Strength of Schedule rating is a pathetic 329.  The next couple of weeks is gonna fix the hell outta that though!

I may have spoken too soon about Penn State.  I guess I keep forgetting who their coach is.  These next couple games at Barclay's Center will tell us a lot more about the Nits.

Michigan State craps the bed (again) against Virginia Tech and stay at #1?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It warms my heart to see Wisconsin continue their downward slide.

Ken has upgraded us to double digit wins now.  Projecting a 10-20 record.  That number is still gonna change as he hasn't added tomorrow's game into our schedule yet.  With all that said, here's today's KenPom update.

Anybody that wants to take a little solace in where we're at as a program might enjoy going through the first one of these threads I did in 2012-13:

As bad as I anticipate things getting for us this year, KenPom wise, I have a hard time envisioning us sinking below the depths we mined that year.  And just one year after that we made the NCAA Tourney, so one never knows!

Wisconsin loses again and slips below Iowa.  Misery loves company.

Ohio State slides into the top 5.

Ken projects a 9-22 record.  For me now the goal has to be to avoid 20 losses.  Here's today's KenPom update.
