I'm trying to find the game between Okie St. and Nebraska in the Big 8 tournament. any ideas where I find it online.

I dunno, but if you could find the full No Sit Sunday game, I'd be interested in rewatching! All I have ever found are highlights.

That Big 8 tourney run also featured a win over OU when Pike went for 42, AND a win over Mizzou who had just went 14-0 in the Conference. Heady days my friends, heady days...

Man, I love that they never bothered to dribble out the clock and were still running set inbound plays with 1.9 seconds left in the game and a 7 point lead.

Danny and Billy hated each other.  Danny had to be happy to get that one over on Billy.

 

The passing by that team was really crisp.  The ball really moved in the half court.  Guys didn't hold the ball very long.  There was a sequence of 5 or so passes midway through the first half where none of our players held the ball at all. It was like playing hot potato: They no sooner caught the ball than they were passing to the next player. That was pretty impressive.

@Norm Peterson I turned it on and fast forwarded to midway through the first half and the Huskers were playing pretty bad so I turned it off, fearing I was jinxing them and causing them to lose the game.

I hope they get it turned around and manage to knock off the Sooners!

I watched the OU game last night. will try and watch the Mizzou game tonight.

Who was in charge of the offense at that time? would be nice to have that today.

I'm guessing it was Gary Bargen, who I think was a really good coach.

Gary was a good Coach, from Hardy NE, and the head man at Hutchinson KS CC. His folks were my Grandmas neighbors in Superior.

I went digging in my VHS collection and was able to come up with most of the 2nd half.  Don't know what happened to the first half, all these years later.  Hopefully someone else will upload the entire thing some day.
