Just if anyone was wondering if any coach in a similar situation has had success. Bruce Weber was signed until after the 2018/19 season going into last august and received a 2 year extension with a reduced buyout, and they lost their best player to the draft. Maybe we can duplicate their success. It also earned Bruce some more money as he and the AD are working on an extension currently.

That kid from Robert Morris seems OK with things. He can't even play next year.

Guys don't prioritize the same thing. It's very probable that guys looking to transfer up to higher profile schools aren't prioritizing long term stability.

No, they don't prioritize the same thing.

The question is whether they prioritize a coach's contract length. Which, maybe they do.

Well that's one way to show to coaches, recruits, parents, and the likes, that you fully support the coach:

Granted, he may have well earned that deal.

Until this year's improbable Final Four run, Moser hadn't really done much at Loyola-Chicago. Guessing the publicity alone is worth the cost to the university of this long-term contract.
