Semi-OT

I'd really like the decision makers at the University to offer their side to this controversy before I pass my own judgment.  But knowing only what is available now, seems like a short-sighted decision on their part.

I go to this Runza before most Husker football games for a tasty grease-pocket and fries.  Never as good as home-made Runzas, but it's a Nebraska staple.

What's next, replacing the Valentinos with a Sbarro's so Nebraskans can get an authentic New York slice?!

Runzo location in the union will close this month:

To be replaced by Steak n Shake and Chick-fil-A:

The President of Runza's response in a letter to the editor:

Agreed. But, strictly as far as head to head goes restaurants wise.....

Now this is completely a matter of preference. Me personally I would much rather have Runza. But I now live out in sunny San Diego and my access to those delicious concoctions are severely limited. I have eaten at all three. Steak N' Shake has a tasty burger. But I have been indoctrinated and would choose In and Out over it. Heck Culvers for that matter. I would definately choose Steak N' Shake over Runza for a burger. Now for the life of me I just don't get all the hoopla over chik-fil-a. It"s just O.K for me. I just don't get it  But its a moot point because I rarely eat fast food anyway. Come to find out its not that good for you. Who would have thought?<_<

Steak N' Shake, Chick-fil-A... fine. But what I don't understand is how The Cheesecake Factory has been on Lincolnites' most-desired-to-have restaurant list for the last 5 or so years. That place is atrocious.

The Cheesecake Factory is fine dining for Lincolnites.
