royalfan Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 I wish I could say it was great defense, but that was not the case. It is really really bad basketball. Noah121 1 Quote

royalfan Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Stetson down just 44-43 at halftime. It is about 38-7 Lipscomb when I have been watching. Might sit out the rest of that one. Quote

HuskerFever Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 I'm going to be optimistic here and say that it would've taken Virginia Tech losing its final 2 and a bad turnout in the ACC championship. Texas is another story. No excuses here, Kansas. Elytron and GBR1197 1 1 Quote
TomEadesSucks Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Hopefully we get the same generous calls against Michigan that VT did against Dook, Quote

HuskerFever Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 This Stetson/Lipscomb game is so bad that the TV/digital scoreboard wasn't working for a good chunk of the 2nd half. Quote
TomEadesSucks Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Illinois would give this Texas team a game, even with Mo Bamba. Quote

MichHusker Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 As soon as I turn the Stetson game on we get a made 3 and force a TO...Too bad they are down 15 Quote
HuskerFever Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 A couple of the Big 12's best teams have found themselves in some odd streaks. OU: 6 games (ended) Texas Tech: 3 games (4 if they lose to West Virginia) Maybe the computers thought too highly of these two teams and now all their opponents got credit for such big wins? Quote

I'll let you answer that one yourself. HolyBobpilgrimage 1 Quote

rwhiston Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Watching the Texas vs Kansas game and shockingly Dickie V and an interesting nugget. In the last 26 years only 2 teams have made the tournament with a conference record 4 games below 500. Baylor, Texas and Syracuse all have that possibility Quote
HuskerFever Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 I know Lunardi is watching this game. And he's going to say "Texas hung in there even without their best big man and an injury. They're a tournament team." Meanwhile I am fully confident Lunardi didn't watch our game and he's thinking "Nebraska got lucky against Kansas. KU was clearly having an off game." rwhiston and HolyBobpilgrimage 1 1 Quote

The Big 12 is a deep league but they don't have any great teams. Even if we get snubbed and Big10 only were to get 4 teams in I'd put money down that the Big 12 won't get more teams to the sweet 16. There's no way they should have a 7-11 team getting in. Quote
