I’ve thought about this quite a bit towards the end of last year, and beginning of this year, and playing Illinois I figured it was a good time to bring it up. The buzzer beater from James, could have changed Nebraska basketball forever.

 

Where do you think we are today if we lose that game to a spiraling Illinois team?

 

I don’t think the rest of the year would have gone the way it did, and I don’t think we have the same head coach, and I don’t think we have still have James and Cope.

There are a lot of people around these Husker message boards who would say that'd been a good thing.  Let those players transfer; better to get started with a new coach.  So, instead of floundering at 6-1 near the bottom of the top 25, we could be well underway with the next coach's rebuilding project.

Yet another highly understated 4 letter word that is fully descriptive yet not nearly satisfying enough.
