I would not anticipate a win over Creighton.  They looked pretty good beating Wisconsin and seem to have depth.  I just hope the Huskers develop as the year moves along and compete in the conference.

i want to keep the assistant coaches for the next fews years also.  We look very good running Lewis's offense so far this year.

I agree. Tim needs to prove he can retain talent on both his roster but his coaching staff.

I get guys get other opportunities to grow that he can't control but in order for this team to grow, consistency is important.

That's true. Throw enough money out there then almost anything is possible. However, for the purpose of this discussion we are looking at realist chances. UNL is never going to pay that much for a basketball coach.

Yeah, I dunno. It's not like football. There won't be any discount on basketball.

If Miles rips off 2/3 NCAAs in a row, he'll probably making close to 3 mil anyway.

Hell, Yori had two sweet 16s in 6 years and still got fired.  You never know in this business.

If he rips of 2-3 NCAA's in a row some success he better be making close to 3mil or else he will look for greener pastures.

Before we go that far lets focus on getting to the NCAA first, and then winning our first ever tourney game.

Bottom line is that being the head coach at Nebraska has turned into a career killer. Don't think that this goes unnoticed by the coaching community, which is one of several reasons why we will never get a shot at an "A" level coach without throwing more money at them then what we actually are willing or able to spend.
