100% agree and that is why it's hard to get invested in kids these days. You get excited to get a high school kid or transfer and they only stay 1 year and then move on to (green pastures). I absolutely love college sports but but with the way it's run nowadays, it's make it harder to like. Makes you wonder how much longer it will be until things like salary caps and signing bonus make their way into college sports. Other than you only get to play college sports for 4 year and professionally, you can play as long as you want, there isn't much difference anymore.

I'll take it a step further and say I just expect that any individual player is gone in any sport. And be pleasantly surprised if they stay.

Oregon St would currently be a Q1 if we meet them in Hawaii. Hope Creighton can finish as a Q1 but not in the tourney

When players can sign multi-year deals it will help. Also the portal is opening and closing so frequently it’s a whirlwind, and players know the chance to portal if it doesn’t work out is only a few months away. Now that the coaches in the football playoff have voiced displeasure with the portal happening during their playoff prep, hopefully it will translate to one window at the conclusion of the season for every team, and another in the summer. Standardizing the portal schedule across sports and multi-year deals will help.

Creighton was a good team when we played them. We broke Kalbrenner now with injuries and transfers they likely will hover near .500 at best
