  1. Nothing against Bolden, but it's much easier to find swing players like him than it is to find a 7'1 300 guy. You take Robinson all day. Obviously I would be ecstatic with either of them, though.

  4. I read it. Wow. In summary, Elbert's family has handed over all of his recruitment to his AAU coach who happens to be a huge Husker football fan. Robinsons family is very reserved yet Kenya Hunter has formed a very close relationship with them. When Kenya came here, Nebraska became an immediate option. The family, the AAU coach, and Elbert will all be here next weekend.

  7. Well, a big big guy is hard to keep out of point-blank range. And if he shoots nearly 80% from the line, you can't take the hack-a-Shaq approach. And those are pretty monster averages from this summer. I'm thinking if you can get Elbert you take him. And if Bolden wants to come along, you make room. A coach has to win to keep his job. Sorry, _________, but it's just business.

I will simply say this, I WANT BOTH! It's safe to say that we wouldn't need Surge with both of these guys. You just watch your mouuuuuth, mister!

Went there late and saw a few football players shooting hoops. Jamal Turner swished a three pointer one handed while holding his daughter. Martinez' jump shot is not bad. Amenities looked good throughout. In the court area it definitely is not as intimate as BDSC. I am in Row 20 lower bowl, right at midcourt, and I don't think I'm any closer to the action than my C level seats in BDSC. But it's a cool place; I was just a little surprised at how far away from the court the lower bowl seats are. Wow, those 300 level seats are HIGH. Quite frankly, I don't know why anyone would pay to attend a game up there. And definitely not if it is on TV. I mean those are way away from the action.

My kids and I got a pic with Miles. We happened to be walking by the bench area and he was down there.

  14. As was stated above, he cooled, we cooled, everyone cooled, who cares to some degree, what fun to have so many good options to discuss. Something sorely lacking for a long long time.

  16. A somewhat funny story from the East-Pius game: Vince Marrow was there to watch his daughter, who plays for Pius. He wanted to be sure he wore his new University of Kentucky gear. Unfortunately, that is the same colors as his daughter's team's opponent.
