Out at USC....I know this is an NU board, but since we played them...

I think we can all agree on this, but I wanted to make a separate thread just to say how much I appreciate how hard this team is competing and the foundation that Miles and his staff are laying. As fans, we can all wash our hands of the season and point to the future, but I don't think Miles or his staff are doing that. By all intents and purposes we are playing with a 6-man rotation and they've absolutely battled three of the best teams in the Big Ten. It would be really easy for this team to throw in the towel and accept defeat, but they keep playing hard and hanging around in games they shouldn't (or at least games Vegas thinks they shouldn't). I would love a win or two, but the realist in me says this might be as good as it gets this season. Regardless, I think this is a team we can all be proud of.

Shields had a few moments while Rivers had a lot of moments ~ nice to see both of those fellows play so well in place of Ubel in the lineup. Wish NU could have had a few three's go down during the stretch run. Didn't happen this time, maybe next time... Great effort on both ends of the floor by the boys in RED!

I think Miles was talking about the Gallegos foul where their player got "injured". Seriously, when he came back out of the locker room did he have to run infront of the Husker bench to get to his bench?

Miles was telling Tom, dick move on the dunk, don't ask to fly on my plane again!

What are the over under on wether we see Sergej ? I don't think over/under works like that.

We should replace the N with a giant swoosh at half court. That'll REALLY get the recruits' attention. We'll be swimming in 8-star guys in no time.
