That was a much better effort tonight.

Damn. It's like two different players. Ok I see why people are holding out hope. I do not share in that hope, but I am no longer perplexed as to why other do. I do hope you all are right and I am wrong though 😕

They're the same players though.  The potential is why GG is on this team and why he played for Rutgers.  Even if he had an absolute miserable year here, one could likely clip together a similar clip of 10 good plays.  It's the inconsistency...the plays that aren't on the highlight clips that keeps GG off the court.  You're noticing the same WTF things the coaches see when he's out there and don't see from Jacobsen which is why Cale is currently taking his spot in the rotation

I remember when Keisei was a wasted roster spot.  I'm wait & see with Griffiths.

Keisei, Tai Webster, Benny Parker, Thor, Brandon Ubel, the list is long, large and spans a lot of years. Having a committed player to your program for multiple years (especially in today's terms) would be HUGE.

In a similar vein, you could add Johnny Trueblood and Tanner Borchardt.

OK, so I waited to see if anyone else would bring this up. I didn't see it (maybe I missed it; if so, sorry) so here goes:

The first time they subbed out in the 2nd half against IU, Braxton and Berke had an animated exchange at the end of the bench, so much so that Coach Z got involved.

Second time they subbed out, they bumped shoulders going passed each other walking back and forth to the end of the bench. And neither turned to say "excuse me" or whatever.

    Interesting dynamic. Anyone else notice?

Citing the Theory of Infinite Universes, within my universe I did not observe the phenomenon you mentioned therefore I conclude there is no problem between the two teammates. Within your universe the dynamics may be different.

Whoever talked about Meah not running P&Rs without Wooster may be onto something.

I think the game just has not slowed down for him. He's seems very tentative whenever he has the ball out top of the key. Heck, even without the ball. But his passes were slow, lazy and telegraphed. It's like you could see the gears turning slowly in his head as he's processing where to go with the ball and he's scoping out his target long enough that even a fat guy like me could jump the passing lanes. It seemed to be defenses really started playing the passing lanes aggressively as soon as he got the ball out top.

    Something to watch.

Norm, you must’ve had a similar vantage point as me. I saw the exact same thing. So did my buddy who came to the game. There was a time when Meah was posting down low and was deep and Berke could’ve gotten the ball to him and passed it around the outside. I think that had partly something to do with it. Hoping it’s all water under the bridge now.

I have never been so wrong about a player as I was about Ubel. It has taught me to be much more patient.

My apologies for the earlier smartass reply. A second thought that came to mind is that if there is something between the two and Coach Z had to intervene, then the coaches know and will hopefully see that it is quickly resolved. Unless it's over the same young lady. Then all bets are off!

Because of Rollie's foul trouble in the first half this was the first game this season when either Worster or Ulis weren't on the court more more than 5 minutes in a game. (Fred mentioned in the post game this the first time they got to see Brice at the point)

They are so in a timeshare that either of them have been on the court at PG approximately 97% of the time but they've been on the court together less than 3 minutes this season.

They both played for 88 seconds together at Creighton. Otherwise they played 1 defensive possession together vs FDU and St Mary's.

Anyone else catch Ballo pointing out fan sitting in courtside chairs by husker bench during free throw late in game? Ref intervened slightly. Had a friend sitting close and asked him and he said a guy was asking Ballo if it was worth the money to go to Indiana and get his a** kicked by Nebraska was worth it? Ballo's replied 3 times with "I'm gonna f****** kill you!! Friend was worried because Ballo was pointing and hollering at him instead of guy who made the comment.

I was right there.  The guy said "Hey Ballo" and of course Ballo looks right at him, then he asks why he only had 8 points and how much he was getting paid for that?  No vulgarity was involved whatsoever, was pretty normal banter.  Ballo got pissed, pointed right at the guy a couple times and said something like I'm gonna F you up!  Was pretty damn funny.

Yes, saw it, but really didn't know what was going on.  Thank you for the detail.

I was in section 119 Friday night and Berke missed or just didn’t pass it to meah on multiple post up chances the second of which would of been a pretty easy dunk as he had his guy pinned to the opposite block. I chalked it up to we just don’t do a great job of passing to bigs when they have good positioning but meah was definitely pissed about it when he came off the floor.

id like to see a few more meah post ups and a few less meah top of the key touches but thats just me

They should fight over that tbh.

Fighting teammates are like a coach who screams at his players: Your W-L record determines the effectiveness.
