I think I mentioned this on Normy's poll, I'd rather win a Big Ten tournament title over anything. That's a trophy. Winning one game in the Big Dance, basically, that's only a little monkey off their backs. Unless it's a deep, deep run in March Madness, I'd rather take the B1G hardware, tbh.

 

We already have one of those.  Does Northwestern have a B!G Tourney Championship trophy?  Don't know, don't care.  They do have an NCAA Tourney victory, which we will get in the next week and a half.

Same here. I feel if we got ranked it would put us on a few more radars of potential opponents. I want them to over look us so when we beat the socks off them it hurts more

Ever notice how in the past month or so each one of these shows coach talking to the team, but there's like zero celebration no "never too high never too low" stuff?  It's just all business like they expected to win.  This is a team with focus and a goal in mind.  That's pretty cool.

After our win against Purdue, we got a little too high, and laid an egg at Iowa and Rutgers.  After the Wisconsin win, we stayed even keel went on the road, and took Illinois to OT.

Yes and no.  I agree about the Iowa game, but if Gary doesn't get hurt, we beat Rutgers.

I would MUCH rather get that first NCAA tourney dub.

 

And I've been saying for awhile now that if we manage to get into the round of 32, we are a TOUGH team to prepare for in 2 days.  We play a different brand of defense than what anyone will have seen all year, and we have a lot of offensive weapons you'd have to account for.

 

Let's get that NCAA tourney dub because I think we've got a good shot of reaching the Sweet 16.
