Is Adam Woodbury entering Luis Suarez territory with his antics?

It's kind of funny right now, and it's easy to bag on coach Fran for his childish response to the media, but I mean really, what happens when Woodbury seriously injures someone, what happens when he makes some kid go partially blind?

Whether it's intentional behavior or not, it is not acceptable, and Woodbury needs to be punished harshly for it, IMO.

I'd be hard pressed to believe it is anything other than intentional after 3 fairly graphic double-eye gouges against 3 of the best players in the B1G. Especially for someone like Adam Woodbury with his unusually short arms to body length ratio! ;)

Also I think I have watched about 100,000 games in my lifetime and I can count on one hand how many times I have seen someone poked that hard in the eye. And three of those one hand counts would be the Iowa Poking Bandit.

I played a lot of compettive basketball in my lifetime, including college ball, and I don't believe I ever poked anyone directly in the eye(s) and I might have been poked in the eye (singular) once or twice. It basically never happens...

I will personal shake the hand on any Red Zoner who throws a pair of safety glasses on the court when they introduce the big eye poker.

That's completely irresponsible of you to say!  How are they supposed to protect their eyes during the game?!?!?

That's how to e a group of students.

Any body remember when the guy from NCST got caught stealing reacords and I think the Cameron Crazies threw amblum covers on the floor when he was announced.

Or the cap guns being shot in the crowd after Stepvovich(spelling?) from Mizzouri had shot himself earlier in the year.

Or when Andre Smith stamped on the little toy radio truck that the Antlers drove around on the court at Missouri timeouts. It had run into his foot during a time out.

There are others, but now a days nobody will let anybody have any fun.;)

Everyone in the red zone should be wearing some sort of eye protection though.

Seriously.  $3 and a trip to Home Depot isn't that difficult.

I will be extremely disappointed in our student section if they don't all show up with safety goggles for the Iowa game.

Went to the Peru State game. Last night and had a lot of fun. My son's good friend is a very good heckler.

He went after a kid and stayed on him all night after he had hit a three and turned to the crowd to try to show them up.

He hs a good loud voice and has a sharp wit.

The kids number was 25 so he yelled at him all night. The other team also had a kid named Trey who wore 3 and was a good three point shooter.

His best line of the night was during a time out and 25 had fouled out and the crowd, all 100 of us were fairly quiet, He yells the best line of the night.

"Hey Trey, Trey tell 25 hello, you know because he might be sad because he fouled out."

It was fun and a great game. Kid from Peru hit a 3 as the horn goes off to send it to OT. Then same kid hits a pair of free throws with .4 left and down one to win. This was after there was a phantom foul on a shot on the other end with 4.5 to play. He drives the length of the court and gets fouled with .4 left.

After watching video of Adam Woodbury and his tip offs this year, I have come to the conclusion that he is one of the dirtier players that I have seen this year.

The eye pokes are in itself speaking of.

Go watch the video of the Northwestern tip off.  They had to redo the tip because Woodbury jumped over the line and into the Northwestern guy.  It was ridiculous! Its about ever game!  I think there is a thread on the main board that shows all of the Woodbury tip offs this year because its a controversy!

If I was jumping against him I would fall down with my arms waving, feet in the air really trying to sell him jumping into me. Of course I would only do that at home.

Also my grandpa told me that back when he played high school basketball in the 20's. They only had one ref and they jumped ball after every basket made. He told me guys would stand on your foot or hook a finger in your belt so that they couldn't jump very well. He of course never did it.;)
