TheKamdyMan Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Looks like he got his release and will visit. Â http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Jordan-Cornish-135357 Â Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Is he a good one Kamdy? Â I hate his shooting mechanics but they can be fixed. Â He has great size and would be a good get this late. Â Personally if Hallice Cooke wanted N I'd take him and his year to redshirt in a heartbeat over him. Â Don't get me wrong he's probably a top 10 player left on the high school market so if he came he he'd be a good get. Â I just like what Cooke has to offer better after seeing a lot of Oregon State games as my defacto second team since its my wifes favorite team and watched them a lot. Section_316 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 He is a really good one. Pry start at the 2 from the jump next year… Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Sounds like he was in the original Rivals 150 and at one point was a 4 star on ESPN. Take that for what its worth. Quote
BrasketballIfYouNeedThem Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 SMU and UCLA appear to be the favorites. But if he visits, we have a pretty decent shot. Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 A condition of his release was no SEC schools. Â 2 out of 4 players from their 2014 class have decommited. They also had a 3 Star PG decommit -Â http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/larry-austin-jr-il Quote

Huskerpapa Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 I like his play. Hope we can get him to visit. He likely believes that since Coach Miles didn't want to consider Tennessee, then he should not consider the school either...  http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2014/04/brother_martin_basketball_play.html Quote
Huskerpapa Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 I wonder if he gets along with anyone from Edna Karr HS in New Orleans...that school seems to have been a "go to" program for our football team. Quote

FredsSlacks Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 He seems like an upgrade over hawkins. Jordan looks to have better guard skills than hawkins did. Â getting a visit from him is huge. I'm not real worried about SMU, but UCLA will be tough to beat. Quote

They are also bringing in a combo guard that will easily be one of the best players in college basketball next season and would be great to play opposite him.  Its also a lot closer to home for him. Quote

I'm not real worried about SMU, but UCLA will be tough to beat. Â SMU has one scholarship available plus guards on the roster. Â UCLA has 2 scholarships with few guards on the roster. Â I'd agree Quote
Timmy Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 It has been said that SMU is believed to be the heavy favorite. Â Key here is to get the first visit and blow him away. Â If he visits SMU first I don't think he takes other visits. Â Quote
FredsSlacks Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 I don't think he would get much playing time right away at SMU. Â Nebraska lost gallegos and hawkins Ucla lost Lavine and anderson. Â That's why i think smu is at a disadvantage Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Confirmed with Robin he will visit NU Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Woo hoo, huge to get a visit. Although Trey Dickerson also said he was coming on a visit to Lincoln. Let's see if he actually makes it on a visit here if he goes somewhere else first. Quote
Timmy Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Some positive vibes from Robin's article - previous relationship with Teddy Owens, aware of depth at SG, and made mention of the great year we had in making the tourney. Quote
