  1. Paschal Chutwu is transferring from Providence. 7'2" and will have three years of eligibility left after he sits out a year. Might be a possibility. Averaged 2.8 pts and 2.45 reb his true freshman year for the Friars. Was 4 star and ranked #61 by Rivals, 64 by Scout, and 61 by ESPN out of High School.
  2. All you have to do is a google search of Burno and Dickerson to find direct quotes from Dickerson that Burno was his lead recruiter. In fact, Dickerson even mentions that Burno is good friends with Dickerson's best friend's dad. Rivals is wrong all of the time on those assigned coaches. From this article: http://www.bigeastcoastbias.com/2014/4/9/5595764/q-a-with-georgetown-recruit-noah-dickerson From Florida there’s Coach Burno, and he is actually really really good friends with my best friends dad. From this article:http://www.onlygators.com/08/17/2014/pf-noah-dickerson-commits-to-florida-gators-billy-donovan/ “Coach Burno was my recruiter, and I talked to him all the time. He was always calling to check on me. The entire staff really helped recruit me; I talked to all the assistant coaches. They all made me feel like I was at home, and I became more confident in my decision,” he said. 3. Lee B. asked him about kids he recruited to Florida: Speaking of recruiting, does Burno have ties to players who might come to Nebraska immediately? “No, I don’t,’’ he said, chuckling. “I know we’re trying to do some things creatively to get one more player. But the guys I recruited, I think they are all aligned with UF. I wish those guys nothing but the best.’’
  4. 8/17/2014 - ESPN 100 PF Noah Dickerson has committed to the Florida Gators over finalists LSU, Washington, Georgia Tech and Georgetown, where he was previously committed. We very well might be silently recruiting him because there has been zero out other than hoping Dickerson has a better relationship with Burno than anyone else. However isn't the final signing day on May 20, 5 days from now? Is he going to sign here without visiting when there are plenty of other places he's visited? Doesn't seem like it's going to happen unless Dickerson moves to 2016 and we have another year to work on him. Do you mean a player has to say and sign the Loi by this date or he can't go to school? That is interesting. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this...I might very well be whiffing. LOI is voluntary. For instance, 5 star hoops recruit Tyler Dorsey has not signed a LOI with Oregon and will not do so. He will sign the papers when he goes to school in the fall. The top level guys can do that as teams will hold a spot for them no matter what. Dickerson doesn't have to sign anything within the next five days.
  5. Lee B. has confirmed the Evelyn visit for Thurs/Fri of this week.
  6. Bakari Evelyn is the name to watch out of Arizona. Rumored to be visiting this weekend. PG prospect.
