If Hammond plays next year, it will mean that something bad likely happened -- either someone got seriously injured or we struck out on signing a grad transfer or JUCO big man.

I feel bad for Webster, whose season started so different than how it finished.  Seems like a good kid.  He's a true freshman, so I really feel he's got a lot of room to improve.  Part of it is a mental adjustment.

Remember when he hit the "game" winning shot from 15 feet during the open scrimmage? It was a beautiful looking shot and a great move. His confidence was never the same once they started practicing & playing for real though. Just swam in the deep end all season.

I'm expecting he'll make a big jump from frosh to soph year. Hopefully he stays in Lincoln though.

Tai was playing halfway around the world at 17 - 18 years of age. His new competition is some of the best college players in the world. He had a lot to learn. Then, he starts struggling, and his confidence is gone. I think he has the physical talent to play in this conference. Now, he needs to spend a lot of time with the mental game.

I really hope he decides to stay in Lincoln this summer. He needs as much time as he can get with this team and coaching staff. I still have complete confidence that he can be a great player for us, but his confidence was visibly shaken this season.

REALLY hope he stays in Lincoln this summer.

We need to work on consistency and develop an identity.  I like where we got to defensively.   EXCEPT stupid fouls by players who we can't afford to get fouls on.

Offensively we need to develop in different phases and our offense needs to mature.  I thought our offense was pretty average even at the end.

Obviously we need to work on dealing with pressure but it would be nice if Miles could start to install set plays, and inbound plays.  Getting some easy buckets never hurts, especially when your team goes into droughts.

This team has some talent but we can't expect to beat MSU and Wisky and go 16-1 at home every year.  We need to develop into a more consistent team and do well in the noncon next year.
