Honestly, this was the big one.  If the worst case scenario played out we'd be 6th, and matched up with Wisconsin in the quarterfinal round of the B1G tourney.  Now we won't have to worry about playing them until the semis.

I don't see how Iowa's resume is better than ours right now.  Same number of total losses, but they have more conference losses, worse SOS, more home losses.  We both beat Ohio State.  They beat Michigan at home, we beat Michigan St on the road.  We seem pretty even to me.

 

They have no +100 losses. That's the only reason.

BYU has 4 losses to teams with RPI of 140 or worse....and zero RPI Top 25 wins.....yet Lunardi has them in as a bye.

It's what is irritating about the "+100 losses" category...you mean to tell me that losing on the road at Purdue in this conference is so much worse than losing at home to Illinois or Indiana? No.
