lanigan123 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 To get going. How does Nebraska do this? Said he and Walt is virtually the guys who can shoot our way out if this. Quote
TheGov21 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 As simple as it sounds, it's true. Rey just needs to make shots. Once he gets a couple to fall he'll get his confidence back. I'd also like to see Miles get him a few manufactured looks. I would also bet Rey is putting in the extra time to get things fixed. Quote
#GATA Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I sure hope he is because he hasn't been able to shoot his way out of a wet paper sack this year. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I sure hope he is because he hasn't been able to shoot his way out of a wet paper sack this year. Ray has been scuffling lately, but his overall 3-pt % is nearly the same as Terran... Quote
Huskerpapa Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I have been hoping all year for Ray to break out of his slump. I am still waiting. I feel bad for him...I am pretty sure this isn't how he pictured his senior year going. Quote
colhusker Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 There is no in-between for Ray. He is either great or really bad. Quote
The Polish Rifle Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Starting with the OSU game Ray is 12/50 on 3's, 24% from dt is unacceptable for your three point specialist. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Starting with the OSU game Ray is 12/50 on 3's, 24% from dt is unacceptable for your three point specialist. And yet NU won 8 out of 11 games... just think if Ray picks it up, this team will have a lot of firepower down the stretch! Man, gotta hope that slump is busted before it's too late! Quote

And I think one of those games he was halfway decent and hit 3 or 4. Might be mistaken but I'll have to look it up. Quote

uneblinstu Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 It'd be nice, but if just one of Petteway, Shields or Pitchford has a good game, we're likely in it last night. We went on streak without him being a major contributor, so I don't agree that we NEED him to break out, it'd just be nice if he did. What we NEED is our top three players to not have off nights all at the same time. roscoe, hhcmatt and bobcat402 3 Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 God forgive me for writing this but... Need to go help, find Ray a slump buster, you know a .... fat girl.... That's what they do in baseball. Okay kill me for the crude remark. I deserve it. colhusker and bobcat402 2 Quote

FredsSlacks Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 ray's shot looks much worse this year than it did last year. It seems like he has a really bad hitch in his shot. Quote
TomEadesSucks Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I think Ray might have developed a case of the yips. It might be time to seriously consider if a Tai/Benny combo at the guard position might be better. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
