I like that idea--especially since my number one rule: "Always cheer for your team--never cheer against the other team."  I never liked the "Who cares--you suck!" when I was in the Red Zone... I instead did the "volleyball clap."

At Northwestern, the band plays one of their "Go 'Cats" drum cadences during the opponent's introductions, and the students (pretend to) read the Daily Northwestern, showing a spread that says "Go 'Cats!" on it, while "ignoring" the announcements.  (Sort of like what we did in the Red Zone during my last two years, but again with the "Who cares" when I was there.)

I think we should get this going and get rid of the dumb volley ball clap and also the who cares you suck. I would love for the Husker Power to be a tradition. Do I think that it will happen? Probably not, but some of the redzoners on here can get together and try to make it work.

Yes, Redzoners, would definitely love for you guys get this going during the visitor introductions.  Would be great because it would hit 2 birds with 1 stone by also drowning out the PA announcer's voice!

93.7 was talking about the "you suck" part earlier.  I don't think it's over the top or really even offensive, but I never liked it either.

Why can't they just say "WHO CARES, GO HUSKERS"?  I know that's not as daring as telling a stranger they suck.

Speaking of traditions, when I was a wee lad I remember enjoying watching the students throw shoes on the court when Jerry Shoecraft was introduced.  Is there anyone that has a name that could allow me to throw something?

Let me give you a hint
