This one started out with the HHC get together at Barry's.  Had a nice turn out and really enjoyed putting some names and faces with HHC ID's.  Thanks a ton to Cip for setting that up.  Everyone seemed to be having a good time.  Hope we can do that again next season.

- What a wonderful way to close the place out.  Crowd was phenomenal from the beginning.  The guys played with energy from the beginning.

- Fitting that it was Ubel making plays down the stretch.  Felt great for him and the rest of the guys to get this game.

- Talley was really good today.  Could tell he was really enjoying the moment.

- I didn't really know what to expect from this game.  I thought everything that happened was appropriate.  Seniors making plays, classy, yet restrained tribute to the Bob, crowd with tons of energy all game, a close, tense game.  It was really just perfect all the way around.

- Rodney Williams had zero points?  Dang.  What a turnaround.

- Thought it was great that Pike, Strickland and Hoppen addressed the crowd.

- It felt like there was a lot more on the line for the Huskers than there was, in all reality.

- Impressed the Red Zone gave Eliason the grief they did.  I didn't really expect that.

- Felt good for Andre to contribute as much as he did.  Though he played pretty well, too.

- There was a stretch there in the second half where Mbakwe basically dominated.  We had a lot of trouble with him tonight.

- Glad we didn't give it away with that lightning fast five second call.

- Coach Miles' enthusiasm after the game was fun to watch, too.

That's where I'm going to wrap it up tonight.  Just a fun night.

The night is still a blur to me.  I saw Norm with a cop.  I thought I saw Jimmy roaming the upper levels of the BOB.   I thought I saw the ghosts of some of our top BOB teams roaming on the floor, and I even thought I saw people dropping from the ceiling.

That said, this was a physical game.  I loved the fact that we DID EARN a couple of fouls.  If you are going to foul someone, earn it.  Congrats to our players, once again, we earned some of those dingers.

- Brandon, excellent second half.  He struggled in the first half, but not in the second.

- You know what, this was a team win.  Each player struggled a bit at times, and then made some big plays.  Nice.

- We played our arse's off.

- Fans...great.

- Coaching, excellent

- No problem with the kids rushing the floor.  Hey good win, against a pretty good team, senior night, last game at the BOB...sure, rush the floor and have fun.

Perfect night.  Very glad I got to go with some friends and enjoy it.  To those of you I met, albeit briefly, at Barry's, it was great meeting you.  Hard to believe I hadn't met cip before...but no Norm?!?  Jimmy, lang, uneblinstu - glad to see you guys.  And special shoutout to uneblinstu and scott for the extra tickets, Thank you.

Great moment, great game, great memory.

Ditto to the above posts. It was almost surreal for me to see this game sitting in the very top row with a son and grandson who  both have spent so much time in the old edifice over the years. It almost felt like we were watching a made for tv movie with an old fashioned sell out crowd, downtrodden underdog seniors rising to the occasion, and joyful finale as the credits roll. Nice to see uni again and enjoyed  now being able to put a face to Scott, Silverback, Royalfan, Hal, and Row 6. Uneblinstu, good to visit with you again and thanks for putting this thread out for every game. Your take on the game is usually spot on.

I'll tell ya, one thing that was very encouraging to me was how we withstood Minnesota and held the lead for about the last 8 minutes of the first half while Ubel and Talley -- the guys many of us think will be the most difficult to replace -- sat out with foul trouble.

Let me emphasize that point.  Ubel and Talley both sat out about the last 8 minutes of the first half with two fouls each.  The score was 15-13 when Ubel went out.  Talley followed a short time later.  Those two seniors, the two guys we've been saying are going to be the toughest to replace, were both on the bench at the same time for a substantial chunk of the end of the first half.

And we go in at half with a lead.

That's very encouraging.

I think they made that movie Jimmy, it was called "Hoosiers" ;)

I have to agree, most fun at a game, because the people who were there wanted to be and wanted to help in the way that they could.

The crowd was loud and stayed with it when we needed it.

I think the site of the kids, mine included, storming the court and the one student in the white shirt jumping into Ubel's arms to give him the big hug at the end was very fitting.  Hope nobody got hurt.

Also was fun to meet all the people before the game.  Thanks Cip it was very nice of you to set it up.

I was still up at 1:00 last night, haven't felt that giddy in a veryyyyyy loooooong time.  Hope it is a sign of more to come.

Great Win!!!  Was a very fun time at the BOB!  Happy for the players, and coaches, fans, and ushers.... everyone!  Let's knock off Iowa here Saturday and see what happens next.  Looking like a rematch with the Gophers in the Big 10 Tournie

There may or may not have been a SideBurnsJones sighting at Barry's last night. The bar-keep mentioned that some old guy with long gray sideburns and bunch of keys hanging from his trousers belt loop was seen rummaging through Barry's broom closet. :)

Hey, a big thank you to everyone who made an appearance at Barry's.  I really enjoyed it.  We definately have to pick one game a year to get together.

I'd like to think the good karma for the Huskers last night started at 9th and Q!  :)
