Tim Miles getting a better seed in the N.I.T. (with a losing record) at San Jose St. in 2025 than he did at Nebraska at 2018 will never not sting.

Probably not a fair comparison.

 

There were 15 P5 teams in the NIT that year versus 4 this year (after all the opt-outs and alternative CBC tournament).

Stating directly that Miles got a better seed in an NIT tournament this season, with the condition that he has a losing season, then directly comparing that to 2018. Apples and oranges.

I'm well aware. I simply am disappointed about the nature of the 2018 season unfolding how it did. It's not that deep.

Valid. Just misinterpreting what the comparison was about. Only highlighting how drastic the postseason environment has shifted since then. Interesting to see that side-by-side today.

SDSU has no chance tonight.   No way the NCAA lets UNC lose.  And, they are a Q2 team.
