Huskerpapa Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago It is a short article from LJS confirming Allison is out for the year with a knee injury suffered in practice. Bugeaters1 1 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago Allison will go through a myriad of emotions and then have conversations with many people (doctors, specialists, family, friends, teammates, psychologists, and so forth). She will make decisions, question those decisions and change her decision; perhaps multiple times. Personally, I think she will fight to come back unless the injury is so bad, it simply cannot happen. But ultimately it will be Allison who makes the final decision. I will NEVER leverage hindsight with a decision that was made about recovery. Yet I do wonder why a decision to go without a sleeve or brace on one or both of her knees was made. Perhaps neither would help. I don't know, it simply is heart breaking. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
Neb Nets Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Ugh Heartbreaking. Like I said after Potts’ knee injury ended her season, it’s like we’re cursed or something. Quote

We’ve seen this before - a talented player who loves the game and has the determination to play, but fate and the Universe just don’t cooperate and their promising careers are cut short.
