Refs were clearly out to get us, yes.  Always happens in the tournament.  We stayed focused defensively.  The refs couldn’t keep Hawaii in the game.

It’s almost easier if we know and are ready to get screwed by the refs. We got rattled for seconds at a time, and then remembered that this is the way it is playing at Hawaii; and got refocused. Totally different story than MSU

Yep.  My favorite coach outside of Fred is Izzo by a mile.  He has an even grittier team than normal this season. We learned a lot from them in that asswhooping.  Love how they’ve responded.

The thing I never understand is why hosts of these events never have a crowd in the arena. If you can't pack your building for your own team, you have no business hosting 7 teams neutral-siting.

The business in Hawai'i is tourism though

I’ve Been pretty critical of meah this year but man his impact was felt tonight as it was vs Indiana and vs that Blue instate school down the road.  Have to think even though the offense isn’t pretty when he’s the pivot point this is how hoiberg envisioned him helping us when they got his commitment
Yeah, Hawaii's big didn't bully anyone tonight.

Sure, but the tournament doesn't seem to be bringing many folks, so I'm not sure what gain there is. Nice for the mainland kids to get to travel and play, but I like when there is a full and energetic building. Might have been more folks at the Sanford Pentagon.

They are moving it to Thanksgiving week.  Don't know if that will help.
