hhcmatt Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 Last season's rebound leader Rienk Mast is on the shelf for 2024-25. Brice was 2nd in cumulative, Juwan was 2nd in average per game Last season Morgan was 2nd for ND St Two years ago when healthy, Meah lead Washington Some of the others not mentioned might be worth looking into Quote
Huskerpapa Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 Juwan is my choice; but we have the potential to be an exceptional rebounding team. Quote
AGHANSEN Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 We should have a balanced rebounding team in terms of stats. Meah, Gary, Williams, Morgan and Worster should all be around 5 boards per game. Quote

No Place Like the Vault Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 Juwan because he is a good rebounder and he will play a lot of minutes. HuscurAdam 1 Quote

Handy Johnson Posted August 27 Report Posted August 27 Don’t Sleep on Adam’s Morgan, he’ll be around the Bucket more often than I think Juan & Brice will. You Can’t Teach Height, & for once we’ve got it in Spades cornfed24-7 1 Quote

nuhusker7 Posted December 13 Report Posted December 13 (edited) After last games rebounding debacle I figured this would be a good time to revisit this. Current totals through 8 games (according to ESPN) Andrew Morgan - 42 (136 Min) Berke - 41 (151 Min) Juwan - 35 (201 Min) Rollie - 32 (199 Min) Braxton Meah - 28 (109 Min) Brice - 20 (230 minutes) Connor Essegian - 20 (170 Min) Gavin Griffiths - 19 (95 Min) Sam Hoiberg - 18 (135 Min) Aron Uhlis - 17 (120 Min) Cale - 7 (44 Min) Morgan and Berke are the top dogs for sure, followed by Meah. Juwan and Rollie are getting a decent amount, but I know Juwan still has an extra level that we need to get to. Brice was averaging 7.5 rebounds/ 40 min last year, and is down to 3.5 this year. This is lowest on the team by a decent margin. I had to double check these stats on another website because I didn’t think they were right when I first saw them. Connor is doing fine, if his target is to exceed what Keisei was doing, he is out pacing him in rebounds per minute. Edited December 13 by nuhusker7 Spelling Quote

I don't know if the coaching staff changed how they want Brice to play or not so I'll try not to completely throw him under the bus. But pathetic. Hot take - if Brice doesn't pump those numbers up to closer to last year from here on out. Zero chance this team dances. Vinny 1 Quote
TourneyBound Posted December 13 Report Posted December 13 Morgan needs more minutes IMO. Definitely need more from Brice and Gary!! Quote

It does seem odd that Morgan isn’t closer to that 25-30 minutes a night mark. Feels like an above average post player n pick and roll big from what we usually have then handles the ball on the perimeter fairly well for what we want and he’s definitely a serviceable defender and rebounder IMO. He was a great pull outta the transfer portal for us, great fit Quote
