Hope I can figure out how to transfer the electronic tickets to my brother in Lincoln when I cannot attend.  I wanted paper tickets but it wasn’t an option.

It's very easy.  All you need is his email or cell number.  He then just needs to accept the transfer and you are all set.

Mobile tickets are the best.  Last year, it even deleted the old tickets and added the current ticket to your wallet.  Pretty slick.

Personally I did not like that feature where it automatically put tickets in your wallet.    I manage a group of tickets for our family so always am transferring some and usually that was after they were already in my wallet.   Transfer was still possible and OK but then when I got to the game I would have a bunch of voided tickets in my wallet that I had transferred along with the ones I was using - so was a bit of a hassle to sort out the ones that still worked for them to scan at the gate.

That said - I agree that the mobile tickets are way better than the old paper tickets.

How does my 80 year dad get in without a smart phone.

I know for volleyball, I had mobile tickets and wanted to give them to my parents to go to a game but they don't have smart phones.  I called ticket office and they printed out tickets and had them at the will call window for them but it was like a $2 charge to do that.

I believe they announced the complete Big 10 conference Basketball schedule before the nonconference schedule was complete.  Is there a reason why the whole schedule isn't posted on their website?  I'm already starting to get invites to photograph events into next year and if a basketball game falls on those dates I'm having to back out.  I'd love to be able to look at my calendar and see what is going on and when.

They announced which teams will play which home and away; they have yet to release specific days on which conference teams play.

They released the conference schedule on September, 19 last year for whatever that is worth.

I find it interesting to that we can know a football schedule decades in advance but basketball it's like weeks before.

Agree.  I'm planning on traveling to a few away games, and the delay is likely increasing travel costs.

Football is the oddball, not basketball or any of the other sports that don't schedule years ahead.

Why do they do that when they aren't even sure who the coach will be? I'm going to take a wild guess that money is involved.

just so you are aware 2034 we will be playing Oklahoma State here in Lincoln.  I looked at that's the furthest game publically scheduled at this time.

The football schedules are usually only 10 years out

Yup which still seems extreme compared to basketball which won't give you a complete schedule until about a month out

Scheduling 10 years out for football has been that way ever since I was a kid and I'm 65 I just think it's a standard practice for football but basketball it's whatever
