Not at the very end.  Nissley had a good look though.  

In either case, whether we won or lost, MSU looks like the better team btw them and us right now.  Getting that 4 seed would have been really good though.

We won’t beat MSU unless we are all at the top of our game but we had better focus on winning the Thursday game.

True.  Wasn't taking that for granted by any means.  Just was eyeballing the play of the two teams (NU v. MSU) going down the stretch.  If nothing else, we have a fighter's chance of getting to 20 W's on Thur.

 i had this game as a loss early in the season. felt stronger the way illinois has played lately.

don't have a defensive player that can lock down on someone like cook.

I guess I just don’t understand the concept of a 3 when we need 2. Second time we’ve done that and it didn’t pan out. And our two players who can drive weren’t in. Doesn’t make sense.

I'd rather have seen us attack the basket and get to the line on our last possession.

The Rutgers loss certainly coming back to bite us.  Those kind of losses generally do.

i liked Green coming into the league.......but, Fralick may be the one to watch.

Another very poor coaching job by Williams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Had 2 time outs in the last 20 or so seconds when two offensive rebounds were made but no time out taken to set up a play!!!!!!!  The 2 missed free throws by Hake were a killer as well  Late several  missed field goals were a problem as well.  Guess I would have had Shelley drive the ball and try to score at the end and possibly get fouled as well.  Looking forward to having Prince on board next year!!!!!!!  Yutan in the state tournament had a good attacking offense to the basket which would be helpful here.

I would have had Moriarity or White in to drive. They should always have one of them in, in my opinion, to hound the pg for 94 ft.  there just isn’t anyone else on the team who can do it, and what other big 10 team thinks they need 5 Outside shooters in at once, while their attackers are both on the bench together?

I think that a week to rest up and get ready for a known opponent outweighs any accumulation of rust.  This, along with the Rutgers loss, reveals a serious problem with consistency.
